For all Hull FC supporters the result may not be what you were hoping for.
A 2 – 2 draw with West Ham is probably disappointing for die hard Hull City Football Club fans, but sitting with the same points as Manchester United it can’t be all doom and gloom.
Leading twice and being pegged back, just like Tottenham were at Sunderland, is going to be frustrating. However if you have listened to recent Hull City news and caffuffle surrounding the change of name, I’m sure the Hull City mad faithful will be generally pleased with the start they have made.
I thought this was one of the trickiest Hull City fixtures as West Ham can be very unpredictable, and deadly on their day, and indeed they could have won right at the death if it wasn’t for Michael Dawson deflecting Valencia’s header and preserving the point.
This was a very entertaining draw which both sides deserved in the end, which was echoed by both team captains, Curtis Davies and Mark Noble respectively.
During the close season the Hull City transfer rumours were hoping to set the club alight, and Michael Dawson and Diame are great buys for the club, and if games are this entertaining there will be people clambering to buy Hull City tickets – and rightly so.
The future can be really bright. Good manager in Steve Bruce, good team spirit, some good nifty transfer window work and a gritty determination instilled in the first team means Hull will be very hard to beat
